Microsoft 365 Cloud Security Engineer — Defense & GovCon Clients We are a cybersecurity and Microsoft Cloud consulting firm serving defense contractors and government organizations. We are growing fast and looking to add a skilled M365 Cloud Security Engineer to our subcontractor bench for ongoing project-based work. What You’ll Be Doing Microsoft 365 security configuration and hardening across defense contractor environments Intune device enrollment, compliance policy configuration, and endpoint management Microsoft Defender onboarding, configuration, and threat monitoring Entra ID and Conditional Access policy design and implementation GCC High environment configuration and support Ongoing M365 tenant security management and support tasks Who We’re Looking For Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Intune, Defender, Entra ID, and Conditional Access Experience working in GCC High or GCC environments is a strong plus Familiarity with HIPAA compliance in M365 environments is a plus Ability to execute independently with clear direction and flag issues before making judgment calls Minimum 15–20 hours per week availability required — strong performers will receive consistent and recurring hours as we grow Proactive — if you finish your tasks and want more work, we expect you to reach out and ask. We have consistent project flow and we reward reliability with more hours US based only — this is a strict requirement due to the nature of our client environments What This Looks Like This is subcontract project-based work. Hours will vary based on active engagements. Strong performers get consistent and recurring work as we grow. We have more work than we can handle right now — if you show up, communicate, and deliver, you will stay busy.
