Job Overview
We are looking for an experienced Bookkeeper who is proficient in QuickBooks Online and has a passion for delivering high-quality financial services. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of 10-20 clients, ensuring accurate financial transactions, and providing exceptional support to our clients. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct bank account and credit card reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial transactions
- Perform bookkeeping reviews to identify areas for improvement and implement process enhancements
- Track and pay bills/loans, collect and manage invoices, and file 1099 forms in a timely and efficient manner
- Calculate and collect sales tax, handle payroll filing and reporting, and maintain financial transaction spreadsheets
- Submit detailed daily reports to your supervisor and keep accurate time logs for each client
- Use internal software to document completed client work and perform other duties as assigned
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A high school diploma or equivalent, with at least 1-3 years of hands-on experience with QuickBooks Online
- 1-3 years of bookkeeping experience with multiple small businesses, with a strong understanding of financial principles and practices
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex financial information to clients and stakeholders
- Strong organizational and recordkeeping abilities, with a keen eye for detail and a ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
