Overview: MRI Technologist – Full-Time (12 PM – 8 PM) Hours can be flexible. Columbia, SC As an MRI Technologist, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging by combining your technical expertise with compassionate patient care. You’ll be responsible for performing MRI scans efficiently and accurately, ensuring both clinical excellence and a positive patient experience. Your ability to integrate scientific knowledge with strong interpersonal skills will help support our commitment to exceptional care. Responsibilities: • Perform MRI scans efficiently while ensuring patient safety and comfort • Screen patients for contraindications and prepare them for procedures • Select appropriate imaging protocols and positioning techniques • Administer contrast agents per regulations • Monitor patient condition and assess image quality during procedures • Maintain accurate and timely documentation and image archiving • Ensure equipment functionality and perform routine maintenance • Uphold high standards of patient care and customer service • Follow safety protocols and regulatory compliance • Participate in continuing education and cross-training as needed • Support quality assurance and maintain confidentiality #ZR Qualifications: Education: • Graduate of an accredited radiologic technology program • ARRT registered with advanced registry in MRI • Must complete required CEU’s in a timely manner to ensure Certification remains active • Active state licensure, where applicable • CPR Certification is required Prior Experience: • 0+ years of experience as a Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) Technologist, required • 2+ years of experience as an MRI Technologist, preferred Special Qualifications: • IV skills required • Knowledge of MRI procedures and standards • Demonstrate adequate knowledge of anatomy • Skill in operation of MRI equipment • Customer service background and focus Company Message: About MedQuest Imaging Founded in 1996, MedQuest is one of the most experienced outpatient imaging providers in the United States.
