Your Role in Synergy's Success This position will lead commercial activities with a primary focus on sales and customer management for US Operations. Working as part of the US leadership team and the most senior commercial executive in the company, this role is responsible for developing and executing strategies that drive business performance, revenue growth, and profitability. The primary mission of this role is to lead and develop the US commercial business through strong sales execution, customer engagement, and account management. The successful candidate will be responsible for strengthening the company’s market position while collaborating cross-functionally to drive our customer’s growth and the growth of our people. This role requires both strategic leadership and a hands-on approach to drive performance, build strong customer relationships, and ensure consistent execution across the commercial organization. The successful candidate will also contribute to company strategy by providing insights on customer needs, industry trends, pricing, and competitive dynamics. Currently the VP Sales will have three direct reports, Sales Director East, Sales Director West & Sales Director, Food Service. How You Will Contribute Key Objectives and Responsibilities - Assess entire sales function and the deployment of the deployment of that function in the field. - Establish disciplined sales processes and adherence to KPI’s across the team - Build and lead a high-performing commercial team through talent development and succession planning. - Provide leadership and direction to the sales organization to ensure strong execution and accountability. - Develop and execute the commercial strategy aligned to revenue and profit objectives. - Strengthen relationships with key strategic accounts and build executive connections at key customers. - Drive growth through effective account management, pipeline development, and revenue expansion. Skills and Requirements - Minimum of 20 years of commercial experience in the flavor industry). - Proven track record of driving revenue growth in businesses exceeding $250M - Strong understanding of market dynamics, customer needs, and competitive positioning. - Demonstrated ability to lead sales organizations in a B2B environment. - Ability to lead change, set clear expectations, and drive accountability. - Proven experience developing and executing commercial strategies that drive measurable results. - Strong leadership presence with the ability to influence and build credibility across the organization. - Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment. - Decisive, results-driven, and highly accountable. - High level of integrity and professionalism. - Strong sense of urgency and ability to drive performance.
