Q2 is a leading provider of digital banking and lending solutions, and they are seeking a Tradeshow and Events Associate. This role will focus on the strategic planning, management, and execution of events, contributing to brand awareness and revenue opportunities. Responsibilities - Manage events for Q2 including, but not limited to hosted events and conferences and industry trade shows - Deliver an engaging and thoughtful customer experience at all events - Manage all event coordination including day-to-day administration, speaker, venue, vendor communication, and cross-departmental collaboration - Clearly communicate objectives, project status and updates to stakeholders on a regular and consistent basis - Serve as core team planning member for annual client conference - Develop detailed project plans to monitor and track progress of assigned events - Negotiate and manage vendor contracts related to assigned events - Assist department in meeting business objectives for lead generation - Responsible for ensuring that all security, availability, confidentiality and privacy policies and controls are adhered to - Other duties as assigned Skills - A Bachelor's degree and ideally one year of experience in corporate or association event management and trade shows - Ability to think strategically, generate creative solutions and manage multiple, time-sensitive projects - Detail oriented, organized, strong project management and budget management skills - Proven ability to manage projects independently, drive projects to completion, and implement change - Communication and interpersonal skills – ability to build strong working relationships and communicate cross functionally and with sales teams and leaders - Strong analytical & problem-solving skills - Ability to work across all levels of stakeholder management and engage in professional and productive collaboration across teams - Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office, including advanced skills in Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint - This position requires fluent written and oral communication in English - Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S - Strong skills in Cvent, SFDC, Marketo, Wrike preferred - CMP or CTSM Credentials preferred Benefits - Hybrid Work Opportunities - Flexible Time Off - Career Development & Mentoring Programs - Health & Wellness Benefits, including competitive health insurance offerings and generous paid parental leave for eligible new parents - Community Volunteering & Company Philanthropy Programs - Employee Peer Recognition Programs – “You Earned it” Company Overview - Q2 is a Financial Services company.
