Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced Integration Architect / Senior Integration Engineer to design and deliver large-scale enterprise integrations. The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in IBM IIB / ACE, IBM MQ, Java microservices (Spring Boot), API design, and cloud-native architectures across Azure and GCP environments.
This role requires deep technical proficiency in integration patterns, API lifecycle management, and modern cloud-native development practices.
Key Responsibilities:Integration Architecture & Engineering
• Design and implement enterprise integration solutions using:
• IBM IIB / App Connect Enterprise (ACE)
• IBM MQ
• Develop and maintain:
• Message flows
• ESQL logic
• Java Compute nodes
• Perform error handling, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.
API Design & Development
• Design and implement APIs using:
• REST / JSON
• OpenAPI / Swagger specifications
• Manage API lifecycle, including versioning and backward compatibility.
• Ensure secure and scalable API implementations.
Microservices Development
• Build and deploy Java microservices using Spring Boot.
• Design resilient services aligned with modern architecture patterns.
• Integrate with databases and external systems.
Cloud & DevOps
• Design and deploy cloud-native solutions on:
• Azure
• GCP
• Work with:
• PaaS services
• Containers
• AKS / GKE
• Support CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments.
Database & Data Management
• Work with:
• MongoDB (schema design, indexing, sharding basics)
• RDBMS fundamentals
• Ensure optimal performance and scalability of data solutions.
Security & Protocols
• Implement secure integrations using:
• HTTPS / TLS
• JWT / JWKS
• Handle multiple data formats:
• JSON
• XML
• SOAP
Integration Patterns
• Apply best practices for:
• Synchronous & asynchronous communication
• Publish–subscribe models
• Saga and compensation patterns
Required Skills & Qualifications:
• 10+ years of overall IT experience.
• 5+ years in integration architecture and engineering.
• Strong hands-on expertise in:
• IBM IIB / ACE
• IBM MQ
• ESQL & Java Compute
• API design & lifecycle management
• Strong experience with Spring Boot microservices.
• Knowledge of MongoDB and RDBMS concepts.
• Cloud-native architecture experience in Azure and GCP.
• Strong understanding of integration protocols and security standards.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
