About the role
We are seeking an experienced Sales Executive to join our team. This person will have a critical role in helping to build out our sales department and bringing in new business. The ideal candidate has proven success in hunting and closing new deals within a lean and agile environment with an emphasis on growth and collaboration. We act as strategic partners to our clients every step of the way, starting with a highly consultative pre-sales process and creating a collaborative strategy with the client.
What you'll do
- Generate sales revenue by acquiring new clients
- Learn and grow through continuing education around the products and services we provide and the partners we work with
- Lead the sales process from start to finish, including hunting, positioning, presenting, and closing deals
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure right approach and fit for ICP
- Develop and maintain a healthy pipeline through proactive outreach, industry events, and networking
- Understand each client's unique needs and goals and create effective sales strategies accordingly
- Consistently meet and/or exceed sales targets and performance metrics
Qualifications
- Over 5 years of experience in ecommerce sales, specifically in a closing capacity
- Deep understanding of the commerce space, Shopify Plus, Recharge, and other supporting technologies
- Proven proficiency in driving sales across various stakeholders, internal and external
- Consistent achievement in fast-paced, high-growth environments
- High level of comfort and expertise with technical product knowledge and collaboration with Solutions Engineers
- Motivated, results-driven individual with a mindset geared toward growth
Travel Expectations
- Attend at least 30% of scheduled events (i.e., dinners, conferences, HH). Based on 3 events per quarter (1/month), you will attend at least 4 events within a calendar year
