[Remote] Software Tester

As a Software Tester, you will ensure the high-quality performance of the Agile development team by conducting rigorous end-to-end functionality testing and collaborating with stakeholders to drive strategic decisions for technology offerings. Responsibilities • Design and execute comprehensive end-to-end tests for our web sites, web services and mobile applications • Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure the systematic evaluation of signal performance • Identify and troubleshoot software issues, analyzing test results and recommending necessary improvements • Collaborate with the engineering and development teams to address and resolve user functionality issues • Collect and analyze performance data from software tests, generating meaningful insights and actionable recommendations • Prepare detailed reports and dashboards to communicate test findings to key stakeholders and management • Continuously monitor and evaluate signal performance metrics, providing regular updates on system performance and improvements • Utilize your business analyst expertise to support strategic decision-making processes related to communication technology • Collaborate with product managers and business development teams to define and refine product requirements • Assist in the development of business cases and feasibility studies for new technology initiatives • Identify opportunities to streamline signal testing processes and enhance testing methodologies • Contribute to the documentation of testing procedures, best practices, and standard operating guidelines • Work closely with the Quality Assurance team to implement quality improvement initiatives across the organization Skills • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field • Proven experience in end-to-end software testing and analysis, preferably within the military industry • Strong business analyst skills, with experience in data analysis • Familiarity with software testing tools, software protocols, and industry standards • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail, ensuring accurate and reliable testing outcomes • Proficiency in analysis tools and software (e.g., Java User Interfaces, Oracle Fusion Middleware, Oracle Database, OLTP) • Proficiency in Oracle Solaris Operating system on SPARC hardware • Understanding of Continuity of Operations and Oracle Data Guard • Effective communication and presentation abilities, with the capacity to convey complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills, capable of working effectively in cross-functional teams • Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance • Must be US Citizen Benefits • Virtual visits through health insurance, pet insurance, commuter benefits, discount tickets for movies, travel, and many other items to provide convenience. • Annual performance management, continuing education, and tuition assistance, internal job opportunities along with career enrichment and advancement to help each employee with their professional and personal development. • Generous 401k matches both pre-tax and post-tax (ROTH) contributions along with financial wellness education, EAP, Life Insurance and Disability help provide financial stability for each DMI employee. • Great achievements do not go unnoticed by DMI through Annual Awards ceremony, service anniversaries, peer-to-peer acknowledgment, employee referral bonuses. • Healthcare benefits, Wellness programs, Flu Shots, Biometric screenings, and several other wellness options.
