Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. ProAg is a dynamic company focused on providing crop insurance solutions to American farmers and ranchers. They are seeking a Senior Account Manager to manage relationships with agency partners, deliver exceptional service, and assist in achieving company goals for profitability and growth.
Responsibilities
- Be the initial point of contact for many of our agency partners throughout the country that will be managed remotely
- Be the source of ProAg and industry communication for our agency partners
- Help agents with navigating to the best contact inside the ProAg team for challenges that may arise
- Understand department underwriting procedures
- Understand ProAg products and where they may best fit the agent or insured
- Be able to efficiently and effectively respond to requests that may be time sensitive
- Communicate with agents by answering questions and explaining decisions to build and maintain productive relationships
- Assist department in meeting annual company goals for profitability, renewal retention, revenue growth, and new business production
- Serve as a knowledgeable resource to colleagues and use CRM to keep organization informed as to the nature of our relationship with the agencies
Skills
- Bachelor's Degree in Sales, Marketing, or a related field, or the equivalent education and/or experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with an emphasis on confidentiality, tact, and diplomacy
- Exceptional organizational and analytical skills, demonstrating the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Experience in the crop insurance industry preferred, but not a requirement
