[Remote] Outside Sales Representative

Alligator Merch is a fast-growing custom merch company seeking a driven Outside Sales Representative to build a sales pipeline from scratch. The role focuses on high-volume cold calling, representing the company at trade shows, and managing the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing deals. Responsibilities - Represent us at trade shows - Attend industry conferences and events (approximately every two months) to generate leads, build relationships, and represent the brand — most times with the founder; sometimes independently - Build pipeline from scratch - Design and execute high-volume cold call and email campaigns targeting business owners and executive teams - Own the full sales cycle - You prospect, qualify, present, negotiate, close, and follow up for expansion and reorders - Coordinate custom orders - Work directly with customers and our design team to ensure branded products meet their vision and specs - Land and expand accounts - Start with a small test order, prove the value, land and expand, then grow the relationship into a recurring contract or repeat business - Hunt big fish - Identify and pursue multi-location chains, PE-backed regional operators, and high-volume buyers - Use our CRM system - Track all activity, pipeline, and customer communications in our system Skills - 1–3 years of B2B sales experience in field sales, outside sales, or door-to-door experience - Proven experience closing multi-decision-maker deals — you've navigated buying committees, not just single-owner transactions - Comfortable with high-volume cold calling and direct outreach. Rejection is data, not defeat - Excellent interpersonal and cross-cultural communication skills - Self-directed and disciplined — you don't wait to be told what to do, and you don't need someone watching to stay productive - Willing and able to travel to trade shows and client sites (roughly every 2 months) - AI-native - Located in or willing to relocate to the Fremont, CA area, or based near a major airport hub - Experience in promotional products, branded merchandise, or marketing services - Exposure to foreign culture and languages - Experience in a startup or small business where you wore multiple hats - Familiarity with CRM tools and pipeline management Benefits - Commission: 3%+, uncapped - Travel: trade show and client travel covered by the company Company Overview - Merch pier is a reliable up and coming company that specializes in bulk personalized merch.
