Role Overview
The Project Manager II is responsible for leading the implementation of a variety of clinical and business projects for the Population Health Quality (PHQ) organization. The Project Manager will collaborate closely with PHQ leaders and cross-functional enterprise stakeholders to scope, plan, and execute small to medium-sized initiatives of moderate complexity.
Work Arrangement
• Remote
• Monday through Friday from 8:00a EST to 5:00p EST
Responsibilities
• Manage the overall direction of projects from analysis through implementation
• Lead cross-functional project teams and other stakeholders to ensure project goals and objectives are met
• Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation
• Monitor and report on project progress to stakeholders
• Facilitate project meetings and communication with stakeholders
• Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and are delivered on time and on budget
• Identify, document, and lead mitigation of risks to project timelines and budgets.
Education and Experience
• Bachelor's degree required
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a formal project management role in a managed care or healthcare delivery environment
• Proven success in managing and delivering cross-functional projects
Skills and Abilities
• Working knowledge of standard project management methodologies and best practices
• Project Management Institute (PMI) PMP certification is strongly preferred
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a polished executive presence
• Proficient in Microsoft Office tools, SmartSheet, and other project management platforms
