ADT is the #1 smart home security provider in the U.S., dedicated to protecting families and businesses. The Inside Sales Representative will engage with customers through inbound calls to close sales, assist with service transitions, and ensure customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Answer new and existing customer phone calls while following sales processes
- Assist existing customers with their moving process including disconnecting their current service and assuming the sale at the new address
- Overcoming objections to gather leads and secure sales in the new home
- Consultatively work with customers to close sales by gathering information, determining needs and scheduling installation appointments
- Ensure customer satisfaction by determining needs and transferring calls to the appropriate party for resolution, performing follow-up including quotes, information requests, etc
Skills
- One year of sales and/or retention experience
- Proven sales ability and closing skills
- De-escalation skills to ensure callers receive the best customer experience
- Strong listening skills used to conduct needs analysis
- Application skills to use what you learn on the call to overcome sales objections
- Excellent problem solving and communication skills
- Ability to multi-task while speaking to prospects
