**The Role**
As a Support Specialist - Customer Care & Billing, you will be responsible for providing exceptional support to our customers, troubleshooting and resolving issues within our software product, and collaborating with our development team to convey customer feedback. Your primary focus will be on assisting our members with all aspects of application support, including troubleshooting, training, and research. You will also be responsible for following up on resolutions, assisting with software release processes, and performing on-site or remote training to our members.
**Key Responsibilities:**
* Assist members in all aspects of application support, including troubleshooting, training, and research
* Follow up on resolutions to ensure customer satisfaction
* Assist with software release processes to ensure seamless product updates
* Communicate with development staff to convey customer feedback and improve our software products
* Perform on-site or remote training to our members to ensure they are proficient in using our software
* Provide after-hours support via an on-call support phone rotation to ensure 24/7 customer support
**Desired Experience:**
* Previous customer support experience, with a strong background in providing customer service via phone
* Basic knowledge of Project Management processes to effectively manage and prioritize tasks
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively communicate with customers and internal stakeholders
* Excellent telephone etiquette and the ability to deal effectively with customers in a professional and courteous manner
* Strong PC skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and other software applications
* Ability to teach others and provide training to our members
* Ability to work in a team and independently, with a strong focus on collaboration and customer satisfaction
* Previous experience with presentations or public speaking to effectively communicate with customers and internal stakeholders
**Desired Education:**
* Bachelor's degree in a business-related field, such as business administration, computer science, or information technology
* Equivalent experience or a minimum high school diploma with relevant work experience

**Note:**
Please note that full remote work for this team is considered for applicants with prior Utility and Coop Industry experience and/or NISC software experience. Applicants from outside the Industry or without a good understanding and baseline knowledge of NISC software will need to be local to the Lake Saint Louis, Missouri, office and able to work on-site during the week to maximize training and learning. A hybrid office/work-from-home schedule is a possibility in these instances after training. The work schedule will be discussed during the interview process.
