Customer Order Management Specialist, Global Manufacturing Operations Schedule:Hybrid, onsite Tuesday through Thursday, remote Monday and FridayHours:8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.Assignment Length:Six months or longerInterview Format:One hour, onsitePosition Overview Step into a high visibility role at the center of a global manufacturing and distribution network. As the primary relationship owner for designated customer accounts, you will guide each order from initial setup through final delivery, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and an exceptional customer experience at every stage.This opportunity is well suited for a detail driven professional who thrives in a structured yet fast moving environment. You will collaborate across international teams, align internal stakeholders, and ensure that customer commitments are met with precision and accountability.Key ResponsibilitiesServe as the dedicated point of contact for assigned accounts, managing the complete customer order journey from onboarding through fulfillment and invoicing.Enter, review, and validate customer orders, confirming quantities, product configurations, pricing, and delivery timelines to ensure flawless execution.Create and manage related purchase orders and requisitions required to support production and fulfillment.Coordinate closely with distribution centers and manufacturing facilities in the United Kingdom, India, and China to confirm acknowledgements, production schedules, and shipment details.Track each order through its full lifecycle, maintaining momentum and proactively resolving delays, discrepancies, or documentation gaps.Ensure all export, shipping, and compliance documentation aligns with applicable trade regulations and internal policies.Facilitate resolution of complex customer inquiries by leveraging deep system knowledge and cross functional collaboration.Escalate high impact issues when appropriate, providing thorough documentation and context to enable swift resolution.Partner with manufacturing and aftermarket teams to address quality concerns, including submission of non conformance claims within the Quality Management System.Maintain detailed and accurate records of all customer and internal interactions within designated systems.Prepare and distribute both standard and tailored reports for internal stakeholders and customers.Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives designed to enhance service levels, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction.Support leadership with coordination of customer visits to local facilities as needed.What You BringHands on experience managing order processing and the end to end order lifecycle within a manufacturing or supply chain environment.Strong attention to detail with the ability to validate complex order data accurately.Proven ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting service level commitments.Working knowledge of customer order management systems and quality management processes.Confidence communicating across diverse audiences, including customers, operations teams, and leadership.A collaborative mindset and the ability to build strong partnerships across regions and functions.Education and Background A secondary education diploma or equivalent experience is required. Post secondary education is preferred. Prior experience in customer order management, account coordination, or supply chain operations is strongly valued. This position may require eligibility related to export control regulations depending on applicable laws.Work Environment This role operates on a hybrid schedule, with onsite presence required three days per week and remote work supported two days per week. During the initial onboarding and training period, full time onsite participation is required to ensure comprehensive integration and knowledge transfer.Candidates must be able to consistently work onsite Tuesday through Thursday and maintain a reliable home workspace for remote days.
