A respected law firm is actively interviewing a Family Immigration Attorney in San Diego, CA. Handle complex EOIR and USCIS matters with meaningful client impact in a hybrid role supporting family-based immigration cases. The firm offers a hybrid schedule with remote work most days and in-office collaboration up to three days per week in Escondido, CA. Positions at this experience level are rarely available.
Key Responsibilities
• Communicate promptly and effectively with clients, team members, and government agencies
• Draft and file immigration court pleadings, applications for relief, and supporting documentation
• Review, audit, and conduct quality control of applications and legal filings
• Prepare for client meetings and develop individualized case strategies
• Provide zealous representation before USCIS and EOIR
• Conduct detailed legal research to support filings and litigation strategy
• Delegate tasks to paralegals and support staff while maintaining oversight
• Meet individual and firm-wide performance goals based on KPIs and expectations
Qualifications
• 5+ years of experience handling EOIR and USCIS matters with a focus on family immigration
• Licensed to practice law and in good standing with the highest court of any U.S. state
• Comprehensive knowledge of immigration law, procedure, and litigation strategy
• Bilingual in English and Spanish (required)
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently while collaborating within a team structure
• Willingness and ability to travel to the Escondido, CA office as needed
