About the Role

As a Remote Inbound Customer Support & Sales Agent at blithequark, you will be the frontline representative of the company, handling customer inquiries, resolving issues, and identifying sales opportunities. Your expertise in sales and customer service will be crucial in ensuring that customers receive a great experience, with their problems resolved efficiently and effectively. You will be working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment where your skills will be utilized to drive sales growth and enhance customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service by responding to customer inquiries via phone, ensuring issues are resolved promptly and efficiently.
• Utilize expert sales skills to identify and capitalize on sales opportunities, offering additional products and services that meet customers' needs.
• Work towards achieving specific sales targets, contributing to the overall sales growth of blithequark.
• Maintain a thorough understanding of blithequark's products and services to effectively communicate their value to customers.
• Engage in continuous learning and professional development to stay updated on industry trends and company offerings.
• Collaborate with the customer support and sales teams to ensure a cohesive and customer-centric approach.
• Adhere to a 37.5-hour workweek schedule, operating on a 5-week rota that includes varying shift patterns between 8am and 8pm, with 2 Saturdays and 1 Sunday worked in each rota.

Essential Qualifications and Experience

To be considered for this role, you must have:

• A minimum of 12 months of telesales experience in one role within the last 3 years. This experience is crucial for understanding the sales process and being able to meet sales targets.
• A proven track record of working towards and achieving specific sales targets in a previous role.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with customers and understand their needs.
• A flexible attitude towards working hours, including weekends, as part of a 5-week rota.

Preferred Qualifications and Skills

While not mandatory, the following qualifications and skills are highly desirable:

• Previous experience in the insurance industry or a related field.
• A strong understanding of customer service principles and practices.
• The ability to work independently in a remote setting, with minimal supervision.
