**Job Summary:**

You'll be responsible for reviewing and verifying assigned codes and sequences, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of coding and regulatory requirements, and utilizing web-based tools and resources to gather and enter demographic, insurance, and healthcare encounter information. **Key Responsibilities:**
* Reviews and verifies assigned codes and sequences diagnosis and procedures according to regulations, ensuring compliance with industry standards and arenaflex policies
* Contacts physicians for clarification of clinical information as appropriate for account type, maintaining open communication and resolving any discrepancies
* Maintains up-to-date knowledge of coding and regulatory requirements, staying current with industry developments and arenaflex policies
* Utilizes web-based tools, coding books, and other available resources to gather and enter demographic, insurance, and healthcare encounter information
* Participates in and assists with audits to capture lost charges, ensuring accurate and timely reimbursement
* Gathers demographic, insurance, and healthcare encounter information, accurately and efficiently entering this data into the computerized billing system
* Performs manual charge entry by gathering demographic, insurance, and healthcare encounter information, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail
* Ensures information entered in the system is done in an accurate and timely manner, meeting arenaflex's high standards for quality and efficiency
* Verifies charges on accounts as needed, resolving any discrepancies or issues promptly
**Essential Qualifications:**
* High school diploma or its equivalent, with a strong foundation in mathematics and computer skills
* No prior experience necessary, as comprehensive training and support will be provided
* Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with physicians, staff, and other stakeholders
* Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to resolve issues and discrepancies promptly
**Preferred Qualifications:**
