**Job Summary**
We're seeking an experienced Senior Data Science Analyst to join our Pursuit and Suggestions Examination team. As a key member of this team, you'll be responsible for analyzing large datasets to inform our product recommendations. You'll work closely with a high-performing team of designers, AI engineers/data scientists, and product managers who are at the forefront of the product suggestion space.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Run unconditional exploratory data analysis to identify novel ideas and opportunities
* Plan and run A/B tests of our latest suggestion algorithms
* Proactively monitor our suggestion models to identify potential issues, determine underlying drivers, and resolve
* Develop new tools that enable us to be more efficient and effective
* Work closely and build strong relationships with our product, design, and AI partners
* Communicate key findings and recommendations to cross-functional senior leaders across the organization
**What You'll Need**
* 2+ years of professional experience in a scientific role (including any graduate education)
* Experience with data analysis and machine learning in e-commerce organizations is a strong plus
* In-depth experience with SQL (full capabilities, query optimization, stored procedures, string parsing, Vertica/Hive/Voila/Flux, etc.)
* In-depth experience with Python and Python libraries (Jupyter notebooks, libraries, pandas, scikit-learn, matplotlib, etc.)
* Experience with experimental design (A/B tests) and statistical analysis to drive business decisions is highly valued
* Experience with AI algorithms/techniques (decision trees, random forests, deep learning, etc.) within a business setting is highly valued
* Strong written and verbal communication skills with a collaborative mindset
* Ability to work collaboratively and proactively with partners
* Demonstrated history of taking ownership and driving results
* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
* Strong business acumen, analytical skills, and technical abilities alongside critical thinking skills
