**Job Summary**
We're seeking an experienced Customer Service Representative to join our remote team on a 3rd shift schedule (11pm-7am). As a key member of our customer support team, you'll be responsible for performing approvals of consumer loans, making payment arrangements, and helping customers with any questions. You'll undertake an intermediary role between potential clients and our financial institution, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and support.
**Responsibilities and Duties**
As a Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for:
* Making outbound and receiving inbound calls to assist customers with their loan applications and inquiries
* Consistently and accurately documenting all information pertaining to accounts, including loan applications, payment arrangements, and customer interactions
* Using basic business math to solve problems and make informed decisions
* Speaking clearly, concisely, and effectively, with excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor when speaking to customers, even in tense situations
* Following written and/or verbal instructions, including policies and procedures
* Working within the laws, rules, regulations, policies, and procedures of arenaflex
* Processing card payments accurately and efficiently
* Performing the initial approval of potential borrowers by thoroughly examining their applications through multiple software systems
* Reviewing applicants to evaluate their eligibility for loan
* Following up with customers to clarify important points and ensure they understand their loan obligations
* Finalizing loan details and keeping customers informed of their loan status and obligations
* Remaining up-to-date regarding lending and other financial services offered by arenaflex
* Creating and renewing records, including loan applications and payment arrangements
* Identifying customer needs and exploring all options available to customers
* Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment, and adapt quickly to changing company needs
* Ability to multi-task by speaking with customers and typing notes simultaneously
* Meeting monthly individual goals as set by management
**Required Skills**

**Preferred Education and/or Experience**
While a minimum of a high school diploma/GED is required, we prefer candidates with:
* Previous customer service experience, preferably in a financial institution or related industry
* Experience working with loan applications and payment arrangements
* Familiarity with financial software and systems
**Technical Skills**
To perform the duties of this role, you'll need to be proficient in:
* Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
* Internet and cloud-based storage
* Financial software and systems, including loan application and payment arrangement systems
**Working Conditions / Physical Demands**
As a remote Customer Service Representative, you'll be required to:
* Sit for long periods of time, talking and listening constantly
* Work a 3rd shift schedule (11pm-7am)
* Participate in a fully remote work environment after the initial 1-week training period (training will be 8am-5pm M-F during the first week)
