Our goal is to add more good, healthy years to people's lives by supporting our customers and the Nebraska community at large. **Job Summary** We're seeking an experienced Customer Service Representative to join our team in Nebraska. As a key member of our customer service team, you'll be responsible for handling incoming phone calls and being the primary customer interface for inquiries. You'll inform and educate our members, serve as their advocate, and build trust in our abilities. By utilizing established best practices, attending ongoing training, and leveraging resources and tools, you'll be the expert who helps navigate the challenging world of insurance. **Key Responsibilities** - Interfaces with customers via telephone, written correspondence, fax, web, and/or electronic mail to provide exceptional customer service and resolve issues efficiently. - Researches customer information utilizing appropriate systems, policies, regulations, procedures, and other reference materials to effectively respond to and resolve customer issues. - Elevates sensitive customer requests when necessary, ensuring timely and effective resolution. - Complies with State and Federal regulations and mandates, which are continually changing, and takes initiative to stay current on policies and procedures required to support the customer and ensure compliance. - Remains current on knowledge of diverse products and proactively recommends items needed by customers to increase customer satisfaction and improve transaction profitability. **Essential Qualifications** - High School Diploma or Equivalent - Three years of experience in a complaint-type customer service office setting (health insurance or related field preferred) - Availability for training 9-12 weeks in length **Preferred Qualifications** - Basic medical/dental terminology and contract interpretation is a plus - Experience working in a dynamic environment with changing regulations and policies **Skills and Competencies** - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Strong problem-solving and analytical skills - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities - Proficiency in using computer systems and software applications - Strong customer service skills with a focus on member satisfaction - Ability to work independently and as part of a team **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits** At arenaflex, we're committed to helping our employees grow personally and professionally.
