- Utilize blithequark's solution information section strategies and rules to process new patient enrollments by entering data into the appropriate system.
- Handle patient medication requests, investigate missing prescription data, and interpret clinical abbreviations (SIG codes).
- Resolve data entry-related exceptions and communicate with patients, prescribers, and other stakeholders to resolve issues.
- Provide assistance to pharmacists, both in-office and in different locations, and escalate issues to senior-level staff as needed.
- Acquire a dynamic professional license or certification within the initial 90 days and maintain an active professional license or certification.
Essential Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Basic level computer skills, including starting and shutting down a computer, using a mouse, and accessing information online.
- Basic web search engine skills, including opening a browser, typing in URLs, and navigating using back/forward/stop buttons.
- Intermediate-level keyboarding skills (at least 25 WPM, typing by memory, formatting documents).
- Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
Preferred Qualifications:
While not required, the following preferred qualifications will give you a competitive edge in this role:
- At least 1 year of pharmacy technician experience in a retail or call center environment.
- At least 1.5 years as a pharmacy technician with a certificate/registration by the state, as conceded by the State Board for Pharmacy or nationally recognized certification agency.
- Experience providing customer service to internal and external clients, including meeting quality standards for services and assessment of customer satisfaction.
- Intermediate to advanced level keyboarding skills (at least 35 WPM, typing by memory, formatting documents).
- Fluency in Spanish and English.
