We’re looking for an ambitious, relationship-driven Enterprise Sales Manager to lead new business development and strategic expansion within public agencies. This is a high-impact role for a sales leader who thrives in complex environments, values collaboration, and wants to directly influence revenue growth.    Schedule: Remote with 60-75% travel to branch or client locations, Monday-Friday 8AM-5PM   How You’ll Do It: The Enterprise Sales Manager will focus on new business development and strategic growth, specifically within public agencies, emphasizing a cooperative partnership approach. This role includes overseeing a Business Development Manager while maintaining a personal sales quota and driving direct contributions to revenue goals. The Enterprise Sales Manager will leverage their expertise in public agency needs and cooperative procurement processes to deliver tailored solutions. A commanding knowledge of Peoplelink Group’s service lines is essential to providing innovative, integrated solutions to public sector clients. - New Business Development: Lead sales efforts to secure new public agency clients through cooperative partnerships, targeting procurement teams and departmental decision-makers responsible for talent acquisition and project staffing needs. Leverage existing relationships and past successes to expand sales opportunities throughout the agency and across multiple departments. - Team Leadership: Oversee and mentor a Business Development Manager, ensuring alignment with sales objectives and public sector priorities. - Personal Quota: Maintain and achieve a personal sales quota, actively engaging in the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing. - RFP and Proposal Coordination: Lead the development of pricing and service models and effectively manage corporate and field resources to respond to formal RFPs, presentations, and contract negotiations. - Sales Presentations: Prepare and deliver customized presentations that address the unique needs of public agencies. - Pipeline Management: Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline (five times annual quota) through trade shows, proactive outreach, discovery calls, and relationship-building. - CRM Utilization: Document all sales activity and ensure accurate funnel management within the CRM system. - Relationship Building: Cultivate long-term relationships with key stakeholders across public agencies, ensuring alignment with cooperative partnership goals. Drive broader account penetration by leveraging strong relationships to introduce solutions to additional departments and stakeholders within the agency. - Implementation and Follow-Up: Conduct post-sales follow-up to ensure smooth implementation, high satisfaction, and adherence to service level agreements. - Innovation and Strategy: Develop and implement innovative sales tools and strategies tailored to public sector needs to enhance overall sales success. - Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams to address client needs, improve service offerings, and drive customer satisfaction. - Marketing Collaboration: Partner with the marketing team to align sales and branding strategies, ensuring consistent messaging and outreach. - Tradeshow Participation: Represent the company at relevant industry tradeshows, conferences, and networking events to enhance branding, generate leads, and showcase Peoplelink’s expertise in public agency staffing solutions. - Flexibility and Travel: Be available for flexible hours and overnight travel up to 50% of the time, as needed. - Knowledge Development: Maintain in-depth knowledge of public agency challenges and solutions through research, networking, and continuous learning. - Budget and Reporting: Assist in the budget process and ensure alignment with revenue and growth objectives. - Develop strategic sales plans aligned with public agency needs, leveraging cooperative partnerships and procurement trends. - Analyze and interpret public agency RFPs to ensure accurate and competitive responses, while adhering to regulations and compliance standards. - All other duties, as assigned   Interview Process: During our interview process, you'll be asked to complete an E3 assessment. It’s one of several tools we use to make informed decisions, not the sole basis for selection.   What You’ll Bring: This is an experienced hire role, and you’ll need to bring five (5) or more years of commercial sales experience within a staffing organization and three (3) or more years in a National or Enterprise business sales or account management role. Here’s what else we’re looking for: - Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience - Two (2) or more years selling into public agencies - Demonstrates an understanding of the sales process within a longer sales cycle (4 – 12 months) - Proven track record of above-quota achievement in a competitive industry - Ability to work flexible hours and be on-call; position may require overnight travel up to 50% of the time. - Demonstrate excellent presentation skills to effectively communicate customized solutions to diverse stakeholders, including C-suite and government officials. - Must have reliable transportation, valid Driver’s License and ability to use personal vehicle daily to successfully perform job duties - The ability to understand and apply basic business acumen and financial concepts - Strong attention to detail and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously - Be detail-oriented in maintaining CRM systems and sales documentation to ensure accuracy and transparency in sales processes. - Set an excellent example and quality image to all company personnel, customers, business partners and the general public. In addition, the staff associate must have the ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch and manipulate light to medium weights of 10 - 50 pounds. Requires good hand/eye coordination, arm/hand/ finger dexterity including the ability grasp and visual acuity to use a keyboard, operate office equipment and read and write the application information.
