Our client is on the lookout for an experienced leader to spearhead business expansion initiatives within its Aerospace & Engineering Solutions division. This pivotal remote position is tailored for a strategic thinker with a results-oriented approach and extensive expertise in technical and engineering services. The ideal candidate will possess a deep-seated network within the aerospace industry, capable of fostering new alliances and nurturing existing relationships with major Aerospace OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers. This role involves a collaborative mindset, working in tandem with engineering and project delivery teams to craft and implement innovative, high-impact solutions for our clientele. • *Key Responsibilities: ** • Pioneer new market opportunities and secure partnerships in the aerospace sector for engineering services. • Utilize and grow an existing network of Aerospace OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers to sustain and enhance revenue streams. • Formulate and carry out a comprehensive business growth strategy in line with the company’s engineering expertise. • Lead consultative sales efforts, advocating for engineering design, digital engineering, and testing solutions tailored to client needs. • Coordinate closely with engineering and management teams to ensure alignment in technical solutions and service delivery. • Manage the complete sales cycle, including opportunity assessment, proposal creation, pricing strategy, negotiations, and closing deals. • Monitor industry trends and customer requirements to identify new business prospects proactively. • *Qualifications & Experience: ** • A minimum of 8–10 years in business development or sales within the engineering services industry, preferably focused on aerospace and/or defense sectors. • Proven track record in selling engineering and design services to Aerospace OEMs and major suppliers. • Established connections within vital industry accounts with proven abilities to develop new business relationships. • Strong technical and commercial acumen capable of translating engineering solutions into strategic business advantages. • Exceptional skills in executive-level communication, presentation, and negotiation. • A bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related fields; an advanced degree such as an MBA is highly regarded. • Driven, self-starter with a propensity for success within a remote work environment and efficient cross-team collaboration. • Willingness to undertake travel within the Eastern U.S. and internationally as needed.
