Key Responsibilities
- Deliver Exceptional Customer Service: Initiate conversations with clients, discuss their plans, suggest products, and encourage excitement about transactions. Provide customer service that goes above and beyond what is expected.
- Maintain a Clean and Well-Stocked Sales Environment: Ensure that assigned areas are stocked, dirt-free, and secure, allowing customers to shop seamlessly.
- Collaborate with Management and Colleagues: Utilize teamwork to attain sales targets and achieve company goals.
- Process Customer Transactions: Utilize the POS system to finalize customer transactions, handle customer refunds and exchanges, and accept payment through cash, checks, and credit cards.
- Visual Merchandising: Develop pricing labels and promotional displays, manage stocks, label and showcase products.
- Adhere to Company Policies and Safety Protocols: Demonstrate and validate compliance with company safety protocols and adhere to standard practices.
- Be Flexible and Adaptable: Be available to assist in any department of the store, if necessary, and achieve excellence in a rapid environment with precision.
Requirements and Qualifications
Essential Qualifications
- Age: 18 years or older
- Basic Math Competency: Fundamental math skills are required for success in this role.
- Prior Customer Support Experience: Previous experience in customer support is essential.
- Multitasking and Stress Management: Ability to multitask efficiently and deliver excellent results in stressful situations.
- Forklift Certification (if required): Specific job positions may require forklift certification solely through F&D.
- Drug Test (if required): State laws allow for a drug test to be taken and passed before obtaining certification for heavy equipment operation.
