They are seeking a Coordinator for the Global Energy Institute to support the policy team with energy, environment, climate, and sustainability issues while managing various administrative tasks.
Responsibilities
- Assist with marketing and communications, including member communications, website updates, database management, and blogs
- Plan, manage logistics, and provide support for a variety of virtual and in-person events
- Schedule internal and external meetings for team members
- Coordinate travel arrangements, logistics, briefing materials, and expense reports
- Track information on policy issues and support advocacy efforts
- Perform other administrative duties and special projects as assigned
Skills
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience commensurate with the role
- 1–2 years' administrative experience
- Strong organization, time management, and attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Comfort with ambiguity and the ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines
- Ability to exercise sound judgment, handle confidential information, anticipate needs, and interact with high-level executives and their staffs both internally and externally
- Able to work independently and collaboratively
- Strong client service ethic
- Proficiently in MS Office (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
- An interest in policy, law, and politics preferred
