## **Job Title: Chief Technology Officer (CTO) – Founding Member** • *Location:** Remote / Hybrid (Providence, RI area) • *Company:** Blockhires.com ### **The Mission** Blockhires is redefining the intersection of recruitment and emerging tech. We are building a high-performance networking and recruitment platform specifically for the **Blockchain and AI sectors**. We are looking for a visionary, hands-on CTO to lead our technical strategy, architect our scaling efforts, and own the development of our next-generation automated sales and recruitment agents. --- ### **The Role** As the CTO, you won't just be managing—you’ll be building. You will be responsible for the full-stack architecture of Blockhires.com, ensuring our platform is scalable, secure, and intuitive. You will bridge the gap between business goals and technical execution, moving from high-level strategy to code commits daily. ### **Technical Requirements** • **Front-End Expertise:** Advanced proficiency in **Next.js**. You understand SSR, SSG, and how to build high-performance, SEO-friendly React interfaces. • **Back-End Powerhouse:** Expert knowledge of **Django**. You should be comfortable designing complex APIs, managing databases, and integrating AI/automation workflows. • **Cloud Infrastructure:** Deep understanding of **AWS** (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda). You will be responsible for deployment, scaling, and maintaining our cloud environment. • **Version Control & CI/CD:** Mastery of **GitHub** workflows, including branch management, pull requests, and automated deployment pipelines. • **AI Integration:** Experience or strong interest in integrating AI models to power automated recruitment and lead generation tools. ### **Key Responsibilities** • Lead the architectural design and development of the second iteration of Blockhires.com. • Oversee the security and data integrity of our blockchain and AI recruitment data. • Manage the technical roadmap and set rigorous standards for code quality and documentation. • Collaborate directly with the Founder to translate business requirements into technical features. • Recruit and lead a technical team as the company scales. --- ### **Who You Are** • A **Founding-level engineer** who thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment. • Someone who views **Blockchain and AI** not just as buzzwords, but as the future of the global workforce. • A problem-solver who is as comfortable fixing a bug as they are presenting a technical vision to stakeholders. • *Are you ready to build the future of recruitment?**
